These ollas hold enough water for a single plant in a pot to last a couple of days. Nice that you don't have to perch a plastic bottle on top. Perhaps you could, I haven't tried it. At any rate they are very functional and cute!

Very happy with my medium Oyas that I've placed in my elevated garden bed.
Our oyas have been mission critical to keeping our garden alive in Mississippi’s sweltering heat. It has made all the difference in how plants have thrived due to the deep root watering. The impact is undeniable when comparing plants that didn’t have the same support and were unsuccessful. In the past years, we’ve used two mediums in our 6x2 and 8x2 beds and two larges for our 4x8 beds, but with the heat and ongoing droughts we will add an additional Oya to each bed. It’s been a standard that I’ve introduced to my family and friends. They are not cheap but they have been instrumental our gardens. Folks discuss using homemade ones and while they can we work, we know for a fact these have performed best. Between it being too hot and us being too busy, our garden would not thrive any other way. I currently own 18 and purchased more for myself and my mother. We have shifted to larger gardens and we are looking forward to the large oyas being restocked. If anyone is planning their purchase and lives in a hot or warmer climate, I’d recommend investing in at least two large oyas per standard bed or three mediums.
Love these oyas! I just ordered two more. I use the medium size in my raised beds with tomato plants. The oyas get my tomatoes through our hot Kansas summers. I highly recommend them.
I believe my water bill was reduced this summer. I also noticed that the blossom end rot on my tomato plants were considerably reduced. The ollas are low maintenance and only require a good washing before retiring them for the winter. Very happy with my purchase.

I've tried few other brands and the water seems to run right thru making the plant water logged. The Growoya has done a much better job for me. Even when placed in dry dry Texas dirt it releases the water in a more controlled manner and the roots of the plants do not get drowned.

Peace of mind. We were away for 7 days. I filled all spikes full before departing. When I arrived home yesterday the spikes were empty (which I expected) but the soil was moist AND all plants were doing great! Just what I had hoped for!

GrowOya really works! I bought 2 medium last year and didn’t use them until this year. I installed them in 2 large whisky barrels and planted 3 dahlias grown from seed in each of them. This is in Prescott, AZ, very hot and string sun. I left for a week, got back and my dahlias were alive! There was still some water at the bottom of the vessels. This is my first time growing dahlias and I killed a few due to over or under watering. With GrowOya you cannot do that, dahlias pull exactly the amount is water they need. I bought 2 more medium and 2 more small GrowOyas this year.

I've been looking for a way to make watering easier at a garden site that I only visit twice a week. I put one olla in a raised bed, and I was surprised how much water was gone when I checked it only four days later. The plants immediately next to it were so happy, and the ones on the edge of the raised bed were definitely dry and feeling the effects of the heat. I'm excited to continue experimenting with mt other ollas to see how they best help me & the garden.

I love my GrowOyas! I have 7 in my raised beds and don’t have to think about a watering schedule. I just fill those magical pots every week or so and let them do all the work. A perfect set up.
The plant are still alive after two weeks, a record for me balcony. Saying up to five days is a stretch, I berley get three.

Easy, Efficient, Effective! I’ve been looking at getting these for a while now and finally did. I set it up before going on vacation in my grow bags and in a corner of my raised bed that doesn’t have a drip connection. It kept my potatoes and ginger going strong while I wasn’t home and they’re super easy to fill back up etc. love mine!

Oyas make gardening a much more pleasant experience in zone 9b. I use them a little more closely than recommended, given the heat. My plants are happy, and I can refill every couple of days.
These are wonderful. We have 3 larger raised garden beds and we have two large models in each. This helps so much to not have to worry about watering when we are gone for the weekend. We don't have the ability to run irrigation to this location, so these are a great substitute. I would highly recommend.

The Oyo pots are being used in my elevated garden bed and narrow bed on my driveway. I have. climbing rose and perennials in the area and it"s so nice not to have to water daily. I check them 1-2 times a week.
I love the Ollas! The small ones are wonderful for pots. The medium ones and larger ones are great for raised beds. I've attached 2 photos, one shows the small olla in a container pot with yellow bee balm and the other shows the larger size in one of my raised beds. It's mid-spring here in Tucson, so I've already covered my raised bed with shade cloth. One can just see the beginning of summer seeds popping up and 2 Wooley Milkweed plants under the black shade cloth. The yellow bee balm is doing quite well in the container. The milkweed and summer seeds were just recently planted so they are still small.
